(WBRC) - Regions Bank is encouraging students to share the inspiring story of a Black American individual in the tenth annual Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest. From now until March 31, high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores and juniors who are residents of (or who are currently enrolled in accredited colleges located in) the 15 states that have Regions Regions Riding Forward Scholarship. To be eligible to enter this contest and to win an award, you must be a high school senior or a college freshman, sophomore or junior and meet all of the following criteria. A total of thirty 30 Contest Prizes will be awarded consisting of 15 High School Student Contest Prizes one 1 for each HSS Entry Subgroup and 15 College Student Contest Prizes one 1 for each CS Entry Subgroup.


The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Saint Louis University seeks MS and PhD candidates for graduate studies in Geoscience with a concentration in Geophysics. Geophysics faculty are interested in applying the tools of seismology to study deep earthquakes, regional tectonics, and earthquake hazards.
